Sunday School Schedule

 

Rally Sunday has been tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 12th.  Please watch for additional information as September nears. 

 

Vacation Bible School - AN OCEAN OF DEVOTION

 

 August 12

1:00-5:00

At Red Arrow Park

Ages 4 and up

 

Join us at Red Arrow Park for this special, one day Vacation Bible School!  There will be crafts, games, a yummy snack and a great Bible lesson.

 

Watch for your invitation in the mail with more information on how you can sign up and sign your friends up!

 

All youth in 6th grade and older will be able to participate in the fun while being helpers – you’ll get to play and eat too!

 

The Youth and Education Committee is inviting all families to attend the Bandits baseball game on July 18th at 1:00 p.m.  The committee is purchasing 40 tickets and will share them with anyone interested.  Donations are welcome; food/snacks are not included

 

Sunday School Offering

 

The offering the children give during Sunday School goes to our Compassion child.  We send $32 per month for John which provides him with Bible teaching, medical and dental checkups, vaccinations, school tuition and school supplies.  Our money makes a huge difference in this little boy’s life and our Sunday School children are learning about sharing God’s love!

 

This is our Compassion Child John.  He has sent us some wonderful letters!!

 

He’s a seven year old boy from the Philippines.  He lives with his family in Manila where families typically live on less than $1 per day. Recently, Typhoon Ketsana ravaged the Philippines including the area where John lives.  We are awaiting news about John and his family.  Please keep him in your prayers.
